![]() ![]() I tried bleeding again, with the shock hanging off its hose this time, and though the pressure in the remote is noticeable better, the shock still stays locked out. The hydraulic line being longer, it requires more force for the fluid to activate the system, therefore if there is air in the system, it is the shock that will suffer. The Xloc lever is available in two options: 1) Left lever (above), or Right side underneath 11.4318.000.000 2) Right lever (above), or Left side underneath 11.4318.000.010 Lever requires bleeding when installed. I was told it was "definitely a bleed issue", and I was given some tips for a good bleed and an explanation as to why the shock lockout wasn't working while the forks' was. I ended up just bleeding from remote end, dropped in syringe and pulled out a bunch of tiny air bubbles, added more oil, sealed it and presto now works perfect. It turns out that the ratchet ring was worn out a service kit was ordered and it was replaced along with the o-rings in the remote. Use a T25 TORX wrench to loosen the Xloc handlebar clamp, position the Xloc so that the bleed screw is slightly above the button, and re-tighten the clamp bolt. it looks like you have to completely disassemble the shock to access the damper side for proper bleeding. A customer has been having troubles with his lockout remote (RS XLoc Full Sprint) on his 2016 Cannondale Scalpel not locking and unlocking properly, and asked that we have a look at it after we got his shock back from service.
